The park, designed in the 1950s by René Guichemerre, emblematic architect of the region, now has more than 700 trees of 27 different species on more than 3 hectares. An ideal setting for an outdoor concert: jazz swing and bebop on Saturday with Acqs Swing Quartet and jazz standards on Sunday with Les Crocheteurs.

René Guichemerre, architect, did not cease during his life to think, to draw, to build and to restore this park which he finished(ended) in 1953\. To his(its) death, in 1988, he(it) left his(its) property in the city of Dax. On more than three hectares, more than 700 trees of 27 different gasolines(essences) were counted. This park is of mixed type, understanding a regular part(party) and an environmental or irregular part(party).
