Meeting on water and energy management issues
Attend a meeting on 2 topics: the regeneration of cultivated soils by hydrological management: the Keyline design and cogeneration plants.
Encounter with Céline Hough, Ecological Manager and Co-Designer
and Jürgen Mésenge-Bergmann.
From 3pm - The Keyline Design
The erosion of agricultural land and therefore its fertility is a major issue today. Climate conditions combined with global demographics no longer ensure or sustain food security for all.
However, there are solutions. Rethinking agricultural systems for environmentally sound food production while boosting yields is essential! Let’s optimize rainwater management to get there.
Within the Gaele'M Resource, Céline Hough studies fauna, flora and fungus. It coordinates the management of the different ecosystems, takes care of the crops and accompanies the new developments related to the built as well as the exterior. She is also involved in anchoring this collective project, at the heart of the Double’s network of actors. These are organized around the theme of local agriculture and bring to life the historical, cultural and natural heritage of this preserved region.
From 4pm - Cogeneration plants What is cogeneration plants and how do they work?
Today, there are small-scale power plants designed and developed to meet local energy needs such as electricity and heat from locally available plant residues.
Meeting and presentation by J. Mésenge-Bergmann.
