Ornavik ist ein historischer Park, wo man baut, schmiedet, webt, kultiviert... nach dem Know-how und mit den im 10. und 11. Jahrhundert verwendeten Materialien. In einem 10 Hektar großen Naturschutzgebiet erzählt Ornavik die Geschichte der Entstehung der Normandie in 3 Räumen: einem karolingischen Dorf, einem Wikingerbereich und einem Kastellklumpen. Besucher können die Geschichte studieren, aber auch erleben! Beim Betreten des Parks werden sie unter Handwerkern, Kriegern, Kaufleuten, Aristokraten, Bauern und anderen Ureinwohnern eingetaucht. Ornavik, es ist ein lebendiger Ort, der auf die Weitergabe von Wissen ausgerichtet ist, es ist ein ökologisches und historisches menschliches Abenteuer, das im Laufe der Jahre leidenschaftliche Freiwillige zusammenbringen wird, Archäologen, Winzer, aber auch Menschen in Ausbildung und Integration, um wieder zusammen zu bauen.

Ornavik is a historical park where we build, forge, weave, cultivate... according to the know-how and with the materials used in the 10th and 11th centuries. In a preserved natural space of 10 hectares, Ornavik tells the story of the creation of Normandy through 3 spaces: a Carolingian village, a Viking space and a motte castrale. Visitors can study history, but also live it! Upon entering the park, they will be immersed in the midst of artisans, warriors, merchants, aristocrats, peasants and other indigenous peoples. Ornavik is a living place oriented towards the transmission of knowledge, it is an environmental and historical human adventure that will bring together passionate volunteers over the years, archaeologists, workers but also people in training and integration to rebuild together.

I visitatori possono studiare la storia, ma anche viverla! Entrando nel parco, saranno immersi tra artigiani, guerrieri, mercanti, aristocratici, contadini e altri nativi. Ornavik, è un luogo vivo orientato alla trasmissione del sapere, è un'avventura umana ambientale e storica che coinvolgerà nel corso degli anni volontari appassionati, Gli archeologi, gli ovulatori, ma anche le persone in formazione e inserimento per ricostruire insieme.
