Exhibition at the Regional Cider Museum
The Regional Cider Museum celebrates sustainable heritage! On the occasion of this event the entrance to the museum is free for all.
FREE TOUR OF THE MUSEUM AND EXHIBITION "SAVING BEES"
The Blond Gold of the Normans will have no more secrets for you! It is also an opportunity to discover the exhibition "Save the bees", loaned by the Departmental Library of the Channel in partnership with the Julien de Laillier de Valognes Media Library.
This exhibition reveals the secrets of the honeybee Apis mellifera, an indispensable honey-producing bee that pollinates, with its wild congeners, a large majority of flowering plants including many species that we consume (such as apples!).
Richly illustrated with report photos, the exhibition takes stock of the decline of bee colonies, which threatens their survival, the scientific research aimed at understanding the causes of this phenomenon, and the measures of protection, some of which associate citizens with the protection of foragers.
MEETING WITH THE ASSOCIATION ABEILLE NOIRE DE LA MANCHE
Throughout the weekend the museum welcomes the ANM association, the opportunity to exchange with its members, to discover the Norman black bee and its future with the APINOIRE NORMANDIE project.
