La Chaslerie is a manorial ensemble typical of the Domfrontais bocage. This complex, locally called a «village», was built from the 16th to the 18th century on a much older site of which there remain significant remains (moat and walls pierced by many loopholes). A closed courtyard includes the main buildings (houses with towers, stables, dovecote). Various constructions outside this courtyard (chapel, farm, cellar, press-charreterie, bakery) complete the device in the middle of the meadows, hedges and groves.
