Guided tour: 200 years of archaeology in Lillebonne, step by step
Since the first archaeological explorations in the early 19th century, the richness of Lillebonne’s basement has never ceased to amaze. Whether they are visible to everyone, known to the most initiated or deeply buried and preserved from the outrages of time, the remains recognized in Lillebonne testify to the existence of an important Roman city. 16 panels, set out on the tour route, show you the many facets of the Roman city. This urban walk proposed by Caux Seine agglo, in partnership with INRAP, the Seine-Maritime Department and the City of Lillebonne, gives you the opportunity to travel in time and to take a new look at Juliobona, step by step. You will discover this exhibition in the company of Jonas Parétias, who studied archaeology at Caux Seine Agglo.
