Middle of the thirteenth century. Jehan and Héloïse travel the roads of Normandy all year round, frequenting the courts of the castles and the great fairs of the region. While Héloïse is a storyteller of stories, legends and tales, Jehan is a true bateleur: in addition to acrobatics and juggling, he is a magician and musician, delighting little toddlers as well as old people! Our two travelers grew up in the golden age of these magnificent, powerful and mysterious places that are the abbeys. For several days, they have been performing a show not far from a famous monastery. With the occasion as a thief, Héloïse and Jehan are preparing to quietly push the door of the place, without anyone seeing them… But they come across a lot of people who don’t belong there either— This chance encounter will be the beginning of a show full of twists and turns!
