The UNIVERSAL was born from the inspiration of Hazrat Inayat Khan. This great sage and musician from India, familiar with all religions, Sufi, visualizes in 1926 a building in Suresnes (where he lives) where all the traditions could come to pray and celebrate. He laid the foundation stone on September 13, 1926 before leaving for India where he died a few months later. The hill of Suresnes is conducive to this vision, because for centuries, religious and hermits have succeeded one another.
