Les laboratoires Éclair d'Épinay-sur-Seine is an emblematic place of the French film industry, where shots, developments and prints of films in film were taken between 1907 and 2015. Come and visit the spaces where film reels were developed and where the association L'Abominable will open in 2024 a place dedicated to the contemporary practices of film: the «Argo Ship» which will include a screening room open to the public. At 8.30pm, screening of the film «Le Havre» by Aki Kaurismaki, post produced by Éclair in 2011.

Created in Épinay-sur-Seine in 1907, the Éclair laboratories have developed, rigged and shot the majority of film films for the French market throughout the last century.
Hit hard by the digital transition of the 2010’s, this 4-hectare industrial site was closed in 2015.
At 30 minutes by transport from the center of Paris, the former laboratories are now reborn in a large cultural district under the impetus of the City of Épinay-sur-Seine which bought the plot in 2018.
