On the roof of a building in the city centre, on a terrace, the association Ne pas plier has installed a «Observatoire de la Ville» which offers a panorama of Ivry and its surroundings. From this point of view overlooking the centre of Ivry, everyone learns to decipher the organization, the physical and social history of the city. This project aims to make urban knowledge available to urban citizens to share, which the demands of everyday life do not always allow to cultivate. Reading your city means finding your critical space, knowing how to take the right distance and understanding the world we live in.
