Musée Clemenceau

We take pleasure in visiting this lovely four-room apartment by Georges Clemenceau (1841-1929) which opens onto a flowered garden with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It is also an opportunity to delve into the history of France at the beginning of the 20th century by looking back on the career of this distinguished statesman who served in turn as President of the Council, Minister of the Interior and then Minister of War until 1920. On the first floor, a gallery exhibits many objects tracing the political and personal life of Georges Clemenceau.
Visitors will discover the facades and the glass roof of Georges Clemenceau’s apartment restored in June 2022 with the support of the DRAC Île-de-France - Ministère de la Culture et de la Région Île-de-France.
