The reopening of the former Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole and Saint-Germain en Laye railway line crosses remarkable heritage sites.
SNCF Réseau, the project owner, wanted by IDF Mobilités, had to pay particular attention to the integration of this project into the landscape. The technical elements, as well as the necessary related works (related to water management, road rehabilitation, heritage urban interfaces such as the main axis of the park of the Palace of Versailles etc. ...) have required a global reflection on the scale of the territory in order to propose a qualitative landscape writing compatible with the preservation of the cultural elements of the landscape and the functionalities necessary for this territory both agricultural and urban.
