As part of the Cultural Olympiad, a sports tour, in the form of a reading tour, is proposed to discover the city of Houilles and enjoy readings of selected texts that will give another insight into the heritage and history of the city.

A former farm, the Graineterie was in the nineteenth century an agricultural trade that provided seeds and fodder for the peasants of the surrounding area. In 1927, the establishment specialized in the sale of seeds and in the 1970s became a gardening establishment before its acquisition by the City. It was rehabilitated in 2009 with the intention of preserving the heritage character of the site. Today, the building, which combines arts and architectural heritage, brings together a contemporary art centre and a multidisciplinary cultural hub.
