GLACIERE (late XVII) - PRIORESS ST JOSEPH- BROU SUR CHANTEREINE
Built by the owners of the castle of Brou on chantereine. This cylindrical cavity was about 20 metres deep and 10 metres in diameter. Its walls were covered with shelves for storing perishable food. Filled with snow, it was covered with a mound of earth to accentuate and maintain freshness.
