These short interventions allow young researchers to present their work in terms that are accessible to the general public. Offering a unique opportunity for students and art history educators to hone their communication skills, this event will be a time of conviviality and emulation. It will also highlight the richness and diversity of research in art and heritage history.
During the «Mon master en histoire de l'art en 180 secondes» competition, each student will give a clear and engaging presentation of their research work at the master 2 level in three minutes (180 seconds) to convince a jury composed of personalities of art history but also of Internet users who will be able to follow the contest broadcast live on the web, in partnership with Le Quotidien de l'Art, and vote for the best intervention.
Two prizes will be awarded
A €1,000 prize will be awarded by Éric de Chassey, Director General of the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA), for the INHA jury prize thanks to the support of Étienne Bréton, Saint Honoré Art Consulting, Paris
A price Daily art of Internet users, presented by Rafael Pic, editor of the Daily Art, will reward the candidate who has obtained the most online votes of Internet users: the winner will win a year of subscription to the Daily art and its presentation will be published in the journal.

Created to federate research in art history, the National Institute of Art History (INHA) consists of a unique research and resource centre in the world in the field of art history. It operates on two heritage sites, very close to each other, and located in the heart of Paris: the Colbert former shopping gallery of the nineteenth century, and the Labrouste room within the Richelieu site. The INHA opens the doors of its places usually accessible to researchers and seizes this year’s theme to organize various animations that will be as many times for the public to better understand the meaning and the stakes of art history.
In the Colbert gallery, visitors will be able to go freely to meet the history of art, while discovering the particularities of this Parisian passage. And discover his countless resources in the library designed by Henri Labrouste in the 19th century.
