Welcome to Eugène Delacroix
Throughout the weekend, the Delacroix Museum team is waiting for you to discover the last apartment and studio of the painter Eugène Delacroix.
Located in the heart of Paris, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, the Musée national Eugène-Delacroix is a unique place. Transformed into a museum in the 1920s by a group of artists gathered around the painter Maurice Denis, this «museum-workshop» offers its visitors to immerse themselves in the heart of the artist’s intimate work, through a collection bringing together a selection of works by Delacroix: paintings, frescoes, lithographs, drawings, as well as objects brought back by the artist from his trip to the Orient and works by contemporary artists of Delacroix.
Take advantage of the European Heritage Days to discover the new thematic presentation of the collections of the museum "Delacroix et la couleur" as well as the work of the students of Fine Arts of Paris in the room of Delacroix.
