Hardelot Castle a small jewel of the Pas-de-Calais coastline
The medieval ruins and the Victorian manor that make up the castle make it an amazing and charming place. The rooms of the manor, reconstituted as if they were still inhabited, reveal to the visitors a rich collection of objects, some of which are loaned by the largest French museums. They evoke in turn Franco-British relations and the history of the castle but also that of the Opal Coast, intimately linked to the history between France and England.

Neogothic manor, built by English in the XIXth century on the ruins of the fortified castle of the XIIIth century. The castle of Hardelot found its Victorian atmosphere in 2014\. Of the dining room in the smoking-room, the library(bookcase) in the private apartments, everything is stamped of a French-British influence. The collection perms participle in the narrative of this tumultuous history(story) between these two countries, of William the Conqueror in our days.
