The TANDEM Scène Nationale opens the doors of the Douai Hippodrome for a guided tour led by its public relations team and students in training at the Regional Circus Arts Centre (CRAC) in Lomme.
Inaugurated in 1904, the Hippodrome was originally built to host circuses and popular events. It is today part of the last seven hard circuses that exist in France. With 3 concert halls and the Paul Desmarets Cinema, this ensemble is a unique architecture. Do not hesitate to come and discover them as well as learn more about the back of the set, the backstage, the many secrets and anecdotes of the place.
Visits are on Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 2pm and 4pm
