Guided tour of historic buildings
The Congregation of the Holy Family has existed for more than two centuries in Amiens. It is a major player in city and regional life. These 200 years of history are those of a vocation and a mission: to educate the poor girls of the suburb of Noyon first, to train teachers for the whole region then, to accompany all the students in their difficulties and in their successes today.
We invite you to discover the heritage of the Sisters of the Holy Family in the heart of the current Collège et lycée Sainte-Famille.
The visit commented by teachers of the high school will lead you to the original place of the installation of the sisters with its superb neo-gothic chapel (1860) the cloister of the novitiate of the Franciscan friars, the gardens designed by the sisters and the charming eighteenth-century country house that became the school building.
