MuséoSciences exhibition - Scientific treasures of the Hauts-de-France museums
Exhibition "MuséoSciences. Scientific treasures of the museums of Hauts-de-France". (9 July – 6 November 2022)
This summer, science infuses the Picardy Museum!
In this original exhibition entitled "MuséoSciences", the Musée de Picardie presents unknown and surprising objects from many museums in the region, as well as pieces rarely presented to the public, taken from its reserves for the occasion. The museum, a dusty and still place? Some prejudices have a hard life! Yet it is far from reality, as museums have always been living places that reflect their time and their territory. A link between the past, the present and the future, the museum helps people to keep the memory of what disappears, to understand the world and to write its future. Thanks to the countless objects collected and preserved over time, museums are both meeting points between the hard sciences and the humanities and places of discovery for all audiences.
