Children’s workshop «The small paper factory»
This workshop for 4-12 year olds celebrates the "sustainable heritage". After a meeting with an archivist and the discovery of the most beautiful "papers" preserved in the Departmental Archives, the children will discover the secrets of its manufacture. Small hands will be used: tearing, kneading, pressing, drying paper... Participants will experience the main stages of artisanal paper making and leave with a sheet of recycled paper. The little extra: takes part in the "sustainable heritage" operation and brings back old paper or newspapers to be recycled to turn them into pulp!
Age of the participants: 4 to 12 years. Mandatory presence of an attendant. Duration of the workshop 1h30.
