Château Vodou

Old(Former) catchment basin, castle of octagonal plan and of neo-Romanic style, built under German period between 1878 and 1883 by the architect Johann Eduard Jacobsthal (1839-1902), celebrates for the architectures of stations of Berlin. This catchment basin was built in the location of the vestiges of a Roman cemetery. It is built at the same time as the central station of Strasbourg, the reservoir being intended(designed) to feed the stream locomotives. Collective cabins of bath will be done up on the 1st floor of the building(ship) in 1891, intended(designed) for the workers. Restored respecting his industrial environment, he welcomes a museum keeping(preserving) the deprived collection Arbogast: objects vodou West-African.
