The House of Heads is the reflection of the success of the Messina bourgeoisie: the facade carries 5 carved heads in stone, probably famous figures of the Messina history. During the construction of the Centre Saint-Jacques, this house was moved and the original heads deposited at the Musée de la Cour d'Or, for four of them, and the fifth is at the Musée de Boston.
