It is a seigneurial castle, built around 1750 that was summer residence of Louis Labauche, textile manufacturer in Sedan. The history of the building is linked to Protestantism and the birth of the textile industry in France. The castle is purely Louis XV style and the estate includes a regular garden, an orangery, music pavilions and a dovecote.
