Visit of the exhibition «Under the sun exactly»
Discover the summer selection of posters from the city’s collection, illustrating the symbolism of the solar star.
Borrowing its title from the flagship piece of the TV movie Anna (1967), featuring Jean-Claude Brialy, Marianne Faithfull and of course Anna Karina, «Sous le soleil exactement» is about this shared and moving geographical space.
“Under the sun, not next door, not anywhere,” the song says.
At the same time place of the insolation of the memoirs and a factory of the conditions of remembrance and reflection, the exhibition puts in perspective posters of the Dutailly collection and contemporary pieces.
At the opening of the summer season, it is a question of creating a path around the symbolism that covers physically and metaphorically the sun, its rays, the objects that irrigate in time and space, and how they are grasped by others, authors and sponsors in different places, different times, but under the sun exactly. With works by Frédéric Teschner, Felix Pfäffli, Na Kim, Annick Orliange, Formes Vives, Olivier Lebrun, Mathias Schweizer, Daniel Van der Velden, Maureen Mooren, and many others.
