Discovery of the exhibition «Perspectives sur l'Art déco en Meurthe-et-Moselle»
Geometric or stylised forms, a building built around 1925 in a rather urban environment, ceramics in the decorations... For sure, it’s Art Deco! If only it were that simple...
With this exhibition of photographs realized by the departmental archives of Meurthe-et-Moselle, come (re)discover buildings and decorations, exterior and interior, more or less known, which testify to the importance and diversity of an architectural movement whose banality of use in contemporary language is matched only by the diversity of its expression and the complexity of its definition.
Games between puzzles and cards, as well as documentary resources on Art Deco are available at the heart of the exhibition.
