Board a tourist steam train on the Cernay Saint André – Sentheim line, west of Mulhouse. 12 km of track in the countryside will take you back in time.
Departure on Sunday 18 September at 10.30am or 3pm from Cernay-Saint-André.
During its stop in Burnhaupt-Le-Haut station, the volunteers will offer you a guided tour of the depot. Volunteers are passionate about all ages and different trades, which is the richness of the association. The guided tour lasts about 1h then direction the terminus in Sentheim.
When you arrive, the locomotive fills up with coal with a vintage crane.

Railroad circulating(running) with a stream locomotive and from cars in open platforms (on 1892, on 1904, on 1924, on 1950) on an old(former) line of the Eastern company, built in 1869, then Elsass-Lohringen, then Alsace-Lorraine, finally SNCF(FRENCH NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY). Line, fixed installations and stations (which Sentheim with space of artistic exhibitions(exposures)) is kept(preserved) in the aspect Alsace-Lorraine. Currently, four movable materials(equipments) are under way of classification(ranking). The TTDA association, is supported by DRAC. She(It) made the object of a triannuelle convention(agreement) of subsidy for the restoration(catering) of her(its) listed(classified) materials(equipments).
