“We all… Let’s go to the museum!”
This exhibition presents nearly a hundred creations made by budding artists aged 6 to 100 years!
At the initiative of the Association of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art, workshops in the museum, but also outside the walls, were offered to young people, as well as to residents of Aubois Ehpad. These workshops explore different themes all echoing the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the exhibition «Translation».
Children accompanied by their families were invited, during the school holidays, to discover a work in the Translation collection
Seniors from across the department were also invited to participate in this project. Thus, 3 animation activities per year around a work chosen in the collection were proposed to residents of specialized institutions. The facilitators of each of the establishments were the indispensable relays for the development of this activity. Hampered by the ban on grouping in workshops during these COVID years, a number of animators were able, following the sanitary lifts, and thanks to their enthusiasm, to give this impetus to their residents and thus carry out beautiful projects here exposed.
