Les Fours des Sœurs Macarons has been inactive for more than half a century. This former Macarons de Nancy factory has been forgotten for 50 years. The ovens and chimneys of the 18th and 19th centuries have been listed as historical monuments since 1987.

The building dates from the first quarter of the 18th century. Located in one of the oldest districts of the city, behind the cathedral, the Rue des Soeurs Macarons (formerly rue de la Hache) housed, until 1982, one of the oldest pastries in Nancy.
Since 2019, the ground floor of the Sisters Macarons House is now naturally dedicated to the development and transmission of Nancy’s gourmet heritage.
The house of the Macaroon Sisters houses the museum Fours des Soeurs Macarons created by the Confiserie Lefèvre.
