The exhibition "Trà mare è monti - Architettura è patrimoniu" presents 20 models, creations between sea and mountain, between nature and culture and 50 photographs of the architectural heritage of Corsica. Large-scale drawings surrounding the exhibition space contribute to the immersion in the architecture of Corsican villages.
The exhibition is divided into three parts:

  • The diversity of heritage . The architectural heritage of Corsica. - From traditional architecture to industrial wasteland, the example of the chestnut culture . A project by architect Sophie Fakis on the industrial wasteland of Barchetta. - An architect’s exhibition: "Trà mare è monti, the double tropism of Corsica". The Regional Museum of Anthropology of Corsica opened its doors in June 1997 to house the ethnography fund collected by Father Doazan. The architect Andrea Bruno makes the Museum of Corsica a real museum of site, inserted in the heart of the citadel of Corte and in harmony with it, a space conducive to the discovery of a culture and its territory. It deals with traditional Corsica – society, economy, culture – and contemporary, focusing on the dynamics of today’s Corsica. Its collections make the Museum of Corsica the resource institution in terms of ethnography of Corsica between the late nineteenth century and the 1970s.
