As part of the European Heritage Days, on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022, from 10:00 to 18:00, the Entraide Protestante de Corse invites you to discover or rediscover the Chapel of Saint Lucia, one of the oldest in the city of Ajaccio, located high up, with its small garden and its view of the port. On this occasion an exhibition will be set up on the theme:
"PROTESTANTS, COMMITMENTS IN SOLIDARITY."
Persecution, the suppression of freedom of conscience and worship, dispossession and forced migration… have generated in minority French Protestantism a memory at the service of justice and freedom for every human being and for the whole human being, which translates into a way of living respectful of life and citizen commitments in society, from the beginning of its existence to our modern age, from the status of women to the popular mission, including health, school, youth, retirement homes, not to mention prisons, the poorest and migrants. actions in France and in the world for the human but also for the protection of the environment.
This exhibition will continue from Monday 19 to Saturday 24 September with the same schedules.
