The salt loft is a remarkable building built in the second half of the sixteenth century in the historic centre of the city to store the salt that the inhabitants had to discharge. With the abolition of the gabelle at the end of the eighteenth century, the salt loft served as housing. In 2018, Isabelle Frank, a visual artist, set up her studio there and opened an art gallery on the ground floor of the building that offers exhibitions from May to December.
