Saint-Peter of Chartres is an old(former) abbey church Benedictine. The high city had its cathedral and its bishop, the low city its abbey and its monks. Built between the year thousand and the beginning of the fourteenth, it is remarkable for its tower hall, its construction spread(displayed) over 300 years in several times(periods), its architectural unity(unit), its internal diversity and its stained-glass windows. Some those of naves, narrative stained-glass windows, were created between 1300 and 1315, those of the chorus(choir) is previous(former). The committee of the district Saint-Peter tries hard for several years to draw attention and to revalorize this unique(only) building.
