The association was created in 1984 on the initiative of the association Buhez (a group of Breton museums) to allow the treatment of works in the regions. The Regional Restoration Workshop aims to contribute to the action of collective interest for the preservation and enhancement of the movable heritage, mainly in Brittany. It is dedicated to sculptured works and movable elements: museum objects, objects protected under the title of Historical Monuments (classified or inscribed), unprotected objects forming part of the heritage of the municipalities, etc. , and private collections.
