Marc Didou returns to Landerneau with the exhibition «Vues, par hasard», in the heart of the city, proposing the discovery of his works through two routes.
The exhibition is organized in the space of the city center through two sets of works. Large sculptures, Carré d'Ouverture, Gens de mer, and three of the Plasma series, made in the 1990s, trace a route from the Town Hall Square and wrap around the Elorn, echoing the city’s maritime history. The Spectrales ensemble, designed in 2022, takes the form of portraits hung high on the facades of buildings, which the artist sees as signs that are “not meant to be seen but to deceive the eye in his attention.” This unique exhibition is an opportunity for visitors to discover and explore the unique universe of an artist of his time.
