Movie creatures, comics, comics… The fictional universes are passionate and full of imaginary species that borrow their fantastic characteristics from real species. From the dragon to Totoro, the exhibition is an opportunity to discover the principles of comparative anatomy through the scientific study of fantastic creatures.

In the heart of the town of Montbéliard, the castle stands on a rocky spur that dominates the confluence of the Lizaine and the Allan. This building is for four centuries, from 1397 to 1793, the residence of the dukes of Württemberg. In 1960, the castle became a museum of archaeological collections, natural history and fine arts. and developing since 1970 a collection of contemporary art. Numerous temporary exhibitions related to the different departments of the museum complete the discovery of this site.
