Visit of the Chevalier Mill: an old water mill
Its successive installation on four contiguous sites, illustrates the evolution of the mills during the second millennium.
On four levels and 750m2, discover the machines traditionally used for the manufacture of flour.
The recent works facilitate the secure reception of the public in the context of a presentation of ecomuseum type. This initiative, for which the association has received the «Patrimoine 2000» label, allows to revive the techniques and energies of the milling industry in recent centuries.
In 2009 the Chevalier mill was recognized as a CLUNISIAN SITE on the Great Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
Finally, exhibitions, regularly renewed on themes close to water and the environment, are presented to the public.
