Built in 1760, the Hôtel-Dieu is a 5,700 m² building with two courtyards separated by a building with a dome and dome.
What to see: The wrought iron balustrade, frescoes adorning the drum and representing four themes of hospitaller iconography.
The apothecary is a splendid space due to the famous architect of Louis XV Jacques-Germain Soufflot, his Lyons student Melchior Munet and the Mâconnais Michel Minoya. It is kept in the original configuration. Located on the ground floor of the Hôtel-Dieu, it presents, in a decoration of woodwork of the eighteenth century, a rich collection of pharmacy pots, some of which probably come from the Rey pottery, established in Mâcon in the eighteenth century.
