Old(Former) Town hall thinks "Tour(Tower,Ballot) of the Aldermen" or else " square House ". Established since 1973 in a room of the town hall of the XVth century, the museum since then pervaded all of the "Tower of the Aldermen", beautiful Gothic building added by a crenellated belfry, witness(baton) of the old(former) importance of the local bourgeoisie. Ascent of some 146 walking(steps) will lead(drive) you to a superb panorama on Swore it and Vosges. In rooms, you will find the local tracks of the contemporaries of Astérix (the most beautiful collection of Gallo-Roman steles of Franche-Comté) and their precursors (rare wooden and bronze Gallic statuettes), but also paintings(boards) and painters' drawings of the first half of the XXth century, such Jules Adler, the painter of the unassuming. Jules Adler, is born in Luxeuil-les-Bains in 1865\. A room is dedicated to him(her,it), presenting about 40 works executed with diverse techniques, among whom the famous:" Tug boats(Boat hauliers) "and " My old man Luxeuil".
