A storyteller, a musician wander around the museum… A word, a sound attract attention, create the event around a work. Visitors gather and listen, watch… Then the artists disappear to reappear elsewhere as in a vast part of cache-cache.
Duration: continuous from 11am to 4.30pm

The Courbet museum, in Ornans, opened its doors to the public on July 2nd, 2011, after three working years. A quadrupled surface, a resolutely modern stage design, an opening on the landscapes which so much inspired the master(teacher) of Realism... This museum pays tribute to the son(daughter) of the soil. It joins large project "Country of Courbet, country of artist" carried by the Department of the Doubs.
