Jean Martin was in turn a drawing teacher, creator and curator of the Greuze museum, creator of the library, archaeologist, director of a gas factory and who brought to light the heritage of Tournus and its surroundings.
In partnership with the Société des amis des arts et des sciences de Tournus, the city of Tournus, the Hôtel Dieu Musée Greuze.

Cloister of the abbey of Tournus, of which only the north wing remains from the Romanesque period, leaning against the abbey church of Saint-Philibert. The east wing, leaning against the chapter house, has been partially rebuilt. The south and west wings along the refectory and dormitories have disappeared.
