In 1982, the first establishment of the Franche-Comté Regional Council was in the former Grammont hotel, 11 rue de la Convention.
Built for Canon Pierre-Antoine II of Grammont at the beginning of the 18th century, this private mansion is also called the Hôtel du Chambrier because this religious, who came from a large Comtoise noble family, also had at the time the honorary office of chamberer of the archbishop.
