Enjoy the European Heritage Days at the Conservatory of Art and History, departmental domain.
Discover this imposing building, Historic Monument, built from the end of the 17th century. It then housed the major seminary of the diocese of Geneva then that of Annecy and became property of the Departmental Council in 1973.

Seat(Siege) of the cultural services(departments) of the departmental Council(Advise) of the Haute-Savoie, the old(former) Big(Great) Seminary(Seminar), current Academy of art and of history(story) of Annecy, fills(performs) many functions(offices): reserves of the departmental collections, place of exhibitions(exposures), rooms of music, of projection, of reception and of training(formation). He(It) accommodates moreover between other bodies: CITIA and CITIA Exhibition(exposure), trainings(formations) of the School of Gobelins, of the Chamber of commerce and the Institut d'Études Politiques(Institute of Political Studies) of Grenoble. Facades and roofing of this departmental domain were registered on the additional Inventory of historic monuments in 1974.
