The FRAC Auvergne dedicates to Charles Pollock a retrospective exhibition that is part of the acquisition for his collection of the painting of 1968 entitled #100 (Stack) and his preparatory collage.
This work, too little known, will undoubtedly have been overshadowed by the voluntary withdrawal of Charles Pollock for the benefit of his younger brother Jackson.
Of an exceptional sensitivity jointly inherited from the Italian primitives and the contributions of Josef Albers on color, the painting of Charles Pollock is today rediscovered and watched by painters of all generations.
