The Castle Paul Claudel de Brangues
Last property of the famous French playwright and diplomat, Paul Claudel and still owned by his heirs, the Castle of Brangues opens exceptionally for the European Heritage Days.
Three guided tours are offered:
- a visit to hear the History of the castle, led by the grandson of Paul Claudel, great connoisseur of the "big" as of the "little" story! At 3 pm and 5 pm.
- a visit in the footsteps of Paul Claudel to the discovery of his life and in the intimacy of his home, by his granddaughter, expert in the work of his grandfather and author herself. At 11:30 and 4:00.
- a visit to open your eyes to the frame, discover the originality and beauty, led by an architect and family friend. At 10:30 am and 2 pm.

You can continue your visit through the park, find the freshness in the undergrowth leading to the tomb of Paul Claudel, stroll towards the Orangerie which hosts an ephemeral shop, walk up the alley of plane trees and then push to the village, at the Claudel-Stendhal Exhibition Space where you can visit the immersive and sensory exhibition «Walking in the Woods» by the artist and scenographer Judith Vittet or introduce you to textile art.
