Trio Sonans
This original ensemble composed of a harp, a horn and a voice present
a programme of French melodies and Italian opera tunes.
The Trio Sonans is an original and unique formation that explores an unexpected harmony around these instruments rarely gathered in chamber music.
The Trio Sonans proposes a program ranging from Saint-Saëns to Duparc, from Gounod to Puccini, with pieces evoking the garden, freshness and melancholy.
Event organized as part of the Vis-à-Vis Festival (4-5 June, 2-3 July, 17-18 September) at the Charmettes. Designed with the Circolo dei lettori in Turin.
Shigeko Hata, soprano, is revealed by his role in Mozart’s Zaïde at the Rouen Opera in 2006. She has a wide repertoire, from the 18th century to the present day. In 2022, she premiered Adamek’s opera Seven Stones at the Dortmund Konzerthaus under the baton of Léo Warynski.
Jean-Michel Tavernier, hornist, was soloist of the Concerts Lamoureux, of the Orchestre de Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Roberto Benzi, of the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine. He regularly performs with the Orchestre National de France and the Opéra National de Paris.
Odile Abrell, is a harpist. Commissioned by the greatest orchestras (Orchestre de l'Opéra de Paris, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Orchestre de San Sebastian, etc.), she works under conductors such as Armin Jordan, Valery Gergiev, Paavo Järvi, Georges Prêtre, Christoph Eschenbach, Pierre Boulez and Emmanuel Krivine.
