Through the cinematographic collections of the Archives du Puy-de-Dôme
Two appointments not to be missed during these Heritage Days at the Departmental Archives of Puy-de-Dôme: the guided tours of the exhibition that retraces the genesis of amateur cinema and tells the formidable visual adventure initiated by Charles Pathé in 1922.
The itinerary of the visit is based on a selection of five collections of films of this period and format from the Archives' holdings, as well as many objects from particular collections, and a demonstration of film projection on original material.
