The Charlannes funicular is a water-balanced funicular running between the town of La Bourboule and the Charlannes plateau above the town.
The funicular of Charlannes as the tramway of La Bourboule is part of the creations of Mr. Jean CLARET, entrepreneur who also installed the electric lighting at the Bourboule in 1896 by building the dam downstream of La Bourboule.
