Catherine Zeidler has always been inspired by the industrial world. For her painting, the artist uses the photos she takes in disused places, on destroyed sites or in the homes of metal collectors.
In a hyperrealistic style, his artistic work invites the visitor to enter the intimacy of the objects, in the thickness of the discarded things. His works show the wounds inflicted by time on machined parts, scrap tapes, girders, railway lines… A powerful line, sustained colors, a force mixed with a feeling of solitude emerge from these canvases.
