Retrace 100 years of Rambuvetaise history between 1814 and 1914: from Napoleon I to Zarafa, passing by the battle of 1870 and the handing over of the Legion of Honour to Rambervillers!

The exhibition features ceramics but also period and totally new objects: weapons, photos, medals, etc.

The collections of the Museum of the Earth of Rambervillers, who(which) does not cease growing rich, are representative of the artistic and industrial history(story) of the Region of Rambervillers. The faïencière production attributed(awarded) to the factory of Rambervillers, active from 1738 till 1866, is very well really sure there represented. The visitor will be able also to admire 120 jars some with pharmacy, from the old(former) Hôtel-Dieu. Rambervillers was also the cradle of Flamed Sandstones, coming from meeting between the industrialist Alphonse Cytère, and from famous artists of the School of Nancy: Louis Majorelle, Pierre Claudin, Eugene Vallin, Jacques Grüber, Joseph Mougin, etc. It is so possible to admire their works in Flamed Sandstones of style Art nouveau. An amazing model of the walled city, a diorama of the Defense of the City in 1870, and a room(part,play) devoted to religious art supplement visit effectively.
